Torsion Springs

Viking Springs can design and manufacture almost any type of torsion springs. Torsion springs have ends, which are rotated in angular deflection. A torsion spring performs at its best when supported by a rod or tube. This type of spring is normally close wound but can have pitch to reduce friction between the coils. A unique type of torsion spring is a double torsion spring. This consists of one set of coils coiled right hand and one set of coils coiled left hand. These coils are connected and work in parallel. The end configurations vary widely on torsion springs.
